Join us in our ground blind to watch Sharptailed grouse dancing in the spring!
The number of grouse dancing in the lek located in one of our paddocks has doubled over the last few years, and it's quite a site to see up close!
We offer a couple different options for viewing these birds in person.
- A guided tour where you can request to be joined by John in the blind where he will give you a history of the lek and the land management on our farm. A small breakfast and farm tour will be included as well.
- A self guided experience in which you will be provided a ride to the blind and picked up after an agreed upon amount of time.
Prime viewing time for the grouse is early morning, so arrival well before sunrise, or in the evenings. The grouse begin dancing in mid March and will continue through April.
